API Reference Transfers overview

Transfers overview

Use the Transfers API to move funds and retrieve supported currencies, countries, address requirements, and rates.

Create a transfer or browse the operations in this category.

Choose and implement the appropriate transfer flow.

How it works

A single endpoint — POST /v1/transfer — moves funds between internal accounts, external accounts (recipients), and crypto wallets. The destination type determines the flow:

Flow Destination Guide
Internal Another Gravv account Internal transfers
External A verified external account External transfers
International A recipient in another country/currency International transfers
Crypto A blockchain wallet Crypto transfers

Before initiating cross-currency or international transfers, use the discovery endpoints to confirm the corridor is supported and fetch the current rate.

Endpoints

Endpoint Description
POST /v1/transfer Initiate a transfer between internal accounts, external accounts, or crypto wallets
GET /v1/transfer/rates Current exchange rates for cross-currency transfers
GET /v1/transfer/supported-currencies Fiat currencies supported for transfers
GET /v1/transfer/supported-countries Supported countries with ISO codes and local currency
GET /v1/transfer/supported-countries-for-address Countries supported for recipient addresses, with states where applicable

Authentication

All requests use https://api.gravv.xyz/v1/ and authenticate with the Api-Key header. Write requests should include an Idempotency-Key header to make retries safe — see Idempotent requests.
